CHANGES and PRICING STRUCTURE

I announced a few weeks ago that changes were coming to Sassafrass Photo: As a photographer I have decided to cut back on my work load and truly focus on my passion. After looking at things I have decided to cut WEDDING and NEWBORN sessions. Sassafrass Photo will now only offer CHILD, FAMILY, and SENIOR sessions. I have enjoyed all of the wonderful wedding and newborn moments that I have been a part of, so thank you to all of those clients! I hope this change will allow me to spend more time with my own family and let me focus on the photography I am most passionate about! 

With this change comes a new easier pricing and picture guide. I will offer both Classic and Miniature in all sessions.  Below is an easy guide to show what the difference is, and exactly what you get with each!  Thank you for your support!

New Pricing & Session Info

After a lot of thought I have decided to add the CD with print release back into my pricing structure.  The prices don't exactly change, it is just now all together.  I found that 98% of my clients ordered the CD after their session anyways, so it just got rid of the extra step and adds it all in.  I will now also be offering ANYTIME mini sessions.  I have added lists of all the pricing below.  Normal session pricing and CD's were just added together to make an overall price (so not really a change there).  I have also listed the difference between a mini session and regular session with it.  Thanks so much!
I can not offer mini sessions for newborns due to the amount of time that goes into a newborn session

Child Mini Session- $125 ($10 each additional child)
30 minute session
10 edited color images on CD w/ print release.

Child Session- $265 (add $10 each additional child)
Session Pricing Breakdown-
*1 hour of on location photography or Studio (more time for more children if needed)
*20-25 edited images (in color & b/w) on Hi RES CD (w/ custom CD case and CD) with print release.
*Time and talents of the photographer (time spent taking and editing your photos)

Differences:
* A mini session is half the time of a normal session (no extra time will be allowed.)
* With a mini session you receive 10 images (IN COLOR ONLY) with print release.
* A normal session will give you 20-25 images in color and black and white. (so more then double the images.)
* A normal session also gives you a custom CD case with custom CD.  A mini session will not.


Family Mini Session- $225 (up to 5 people, additional family members $15)
40 minute session
15 edited color images on CD w/ print release.

Standard Family Session- $325 (up to 5 people, add $15 each additional person)

*1 to 1 1/2 hours of on location photography (more time for more people if needed)
*25-30 edited images (in color & b/w) on Hi RES CD (w/ custom CD case and CD) with print release.

Senior Mini Session- $150
30 minute session
10 edited color images on CD w/ print release.

Senior Session- $300

2011

2011 will be here shortly and with it are coming some changes with how I will be doing things. Session prices will remain the same, but I will now require that prints are ordered through me. I get phone calls from Walmart and other sketchy places all of the time asking for print release. It makes me want to cry, seriously!! I have even had clients who come for a second time and I ask what pictures they printed and hung the last time and they say "Oh, we never got around to printing them." So sad! With this new change I can make sure you not only get prints, but they look and feel high quality as well!!!! You can tell me all you want that my pictures look great from Walmart or Snapfish, the thing is on a side by side comparison it is drastically not the case!
I feel with this change I will be able to better manage all aspects of my business and keep a quality standard that I prefer. Updates have been made to my website (link on the right hand side of my blog) and I feel my prints are reasonable compared to others. There are a few Print Packages, and I also offer Fine Art Gallery Wrapped Canvas Prints too. If you are still dependent upon having a cd with print release you can purchase one, the price is also listed on my website.

A Few Things You Should Know:
Wedding Packages will still receive a CD of their images.
You can get a LO-RES watermarked CD with a $60 print order to use for blogs or facebook. YOU CAN NOT PRINT THESE!!!!!! I size them down for the web, and if you tried to print one it would be a blurry mess! So PLEASE don't try!
Also I will be launching a new blog around the beginning of the year!!!! So overdue :)

Payments

Hello everyone! As my business continues to grow I have to make adjustments periodically to make things run smoother for both me and my clients. This is one of those times!

For all future booking I will now be charging a booking fee.
$30- for a child session
$50- for a family session

This is a non-refundable fee that will need to be paid to book your session (no session will be booked until this fee is paid). The fee will be taken out of your original session fee, so it is at no additional cost to you, it just helps me run a smoother and more effective business.

With this I wanted to make it easier for my customers to pay! I will now be offering online payment! If you'd like to pay online I will send you an email invoice that you can pay from immediately! You can pay by credit/debit/ or paypal account! You will be able to click the payment button immediately from the email, and the checkout is secure!


All session fees are due your session date.....
