Little Ladies

These two little ladies were super cute :) Baby sis didn't love having her pictures taken, but we got a few in before she totally lost it :) I know parents apologize a lot and think their kids are the only ones who act out when it comes time to get their pictures taken. Let me promise you, this is not the case! A lot of kids have a hard time, that's why I try to move fast :)

Staley Family

Four adorable little boys!!!! They were pretty good for being little guys :) My little boy is a terror, so I always expect the worst! Such a fun family :) Thanks Ann

2011 CHANGES

2011 will be here shortly and with it are coming some changes with how I will be doing things. Session prices will remain the same, but I will now require that prints are ordered through me. I get phone calls from Walmart and other sketchy places all of the time asking for print release. It makes me want to cry, seriously!! I have even had clients who come for a second time and I ask what pictures they printed and hung the last time and they say "Oh, we never got around to printing them." So sad! With this new change I can make sure you not only get prints, but they look and feel high quality as well!!!! You can tell me all you want that my pictures look great from Walmart or Snapfish, the thing is on a side by side comparison it is drastically not the case! Lets face it, it really isn't much of a price increase. You order prints after you get your photos done anyways, I am just making sure those prints are high quality :)
I feel with this change I will be able to better manage all aspects of my business and keep a quality standard that I prefer. Updates have been made to my website (link on the right hand side of my blog) and I feel my prints are reasonable compared to others. There are a few Print Packages, and I also offer Fine Art Gallery Wrapped Canvas Prints too. If you are still dependent upon having a cd with print release you can purchase one, the price is also listed on my website.

A Few Things You Should Know:
Wedding Packages will still receive a CD of their images.
You can get a LO-RES watermarked CD with a $60 print order to use for blogs or facebook. YOU CAN NOT PRINT THESE!!!!!! I size them down for the web, and if you tried to print one it would be a blurry mess! So PLEASE don't try!
Also I will be launching a new blog around the beginning of the year!!!! So overdue :)

Freezing

The week before this session it was so warm! Not for these guys though, it was FREEZING!!!! Poor Brelynn had a skirt on for part of the time, and it took her a minute to stop convulsing! Yikes, we got through it though and they were both adorable little models :) Thanks for braving the freezing temperatures :)

Backman Family

This is my Mom's twin brothers family!!!! We have always been close, and I love the to death :) Lyndi is preggers right now, and not finding out what she's having!!! That would honestly kill me, I am not patient at all! I think she's going to have a girl, but we'll have to wait till March to see for sure.

New Studio Setup- oh and a happy birthday at our house

Okay, what do you think? I got some sassy new backdrops, and just put down beautiful new floors :) I know sometimes in the winter you want to do some cute pictures but it get too cold! So I have an alternative (for kids shoots only) to have fun pictures without the red noses! Tuesday my little Kylie turned 6, and so we used the opportunity to take some birthday pictures too! Of course little brother wanted in on the action as well.
I have people ask me where I get my kids' clothes a lot too. The real answer is just about anywhere, but for these outfits I will give you the low down ;) Ethan is wearing everything from Children's Place, I have always loved their little boys and big boys lines! Who could resist a fun winter hat too, am I right? Kylie's jacket and skirt is from Children's Place (I am more selective about their girls stuff) Her shirt is from 77kids and necklace from Charlotte Russe. Her beautiful headband is from Whippy Cake which I LOVE. The best part about those is you can buy a headband for you and your little ones and share the flowers :) They are velcro exchangeable :)
